Buzzfeed tracks content that is spreading virally on the Web and publishes the most popular items at Buzzfeed.com. The Company also shares insights with online publishers that have opted to join the Buzzfeed network and embed Buzzfeed's analytics. Since inception, Buzzfeed.com has served as a testbed for insights about the viral spread of content – insights that can then be applied to help major advertisers and publishers. Buzzfeed was founded by Jonah Peretti, who previously served as a co-founder of The Huffington Post.
