There are so many apps now, it's getting hard to separate the great ones from the duds. BestVendor wants to solve this problem for businesses and recommend which ones they should download.

Today BestVendor is announcing a $3 million Series A round of financing led by RRE Ventures and SoftBank Capital.

Lerer Ventures, David Tisch, Founder Collective and Old Willow Partners also participated.

The startup was founded in January 2011 by Jeff Giesea, Magnus von Koeller and Ben Zhuk. In June it raised a $600,000 seed round from SV Angel, Peter Thiel, Lerer Ventures and SoftBank Capital.
